Newcastle Vauxhall receives another accolade

Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Newcastle has been recognised by the UK’s leading car scheme, which helps disabled people get mobile.

The Scotswood Road dealership has received the Quarter 1 Award from the Motability Scheme, which enables disabled people and war pensioners to exchange their benefit payments for a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair and is designed to improve their independence.

The Motability scheme is available to those who receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or Armed Forces Independence Payment. Those eligible can exchange their weekly payment to lease a new car through the Motability Scheme. Insurance, servicing, RAC breakdown assistance and replacement tyres are included in the cost of the lease.

Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Newcastle is fast becoming Motability’s flagship delivery partner in the North East having previously been named as its Dealership of the Year and winning multiple regional awards since 2014 when the Dealer Awards programme was established. Its Motability Specialist, Gavin Gray, was awarded an Outstanding Contribution award earlier this year, which is only the second of its type to be presented by Motability.
