Nissan Juke promoted with London Underground wrap advert

Nissan has fitted the first ever 360-degree wrap advertising in the London Underground in order to build up hype for its new Juke crossover and the ground-breaking Nissan Connect technology.

The advert stretches across the walls, ceiling and floor of the walkway between the Bakerloo and Victoria lines at Oxford Circus. It displays a dark London skyline and night with a red Juke and the strap line "Turn every drive into a ride with Google Send-to-Car technology". The design is intended to make the 2.7 million passengers who are to use the station over the next two weeks feel as if they are standing on a building at night time, with the Juke gliding over the top of them.

It forms part of a campaign to bring to consumers' attention to the Google Send-to-Car technology, which allows motorists to plot a journey on any device and then send it remotely to their vehicle before setting off.

"This campaign will create a brief moment of exhilaration for commuters by physically placing them at the heart of an all-encompassing, dramatic set-up. It also pays homage to a commitment at Nissan that we reflect products, such as Nissan Connect, through innovative and engaging marketing," said Guillaume Masurel, marketing director at Nissan Motor (GB).

The Google Send-to-Car technology is available with the Nissan Juke n-tec, a gadget-heavy vehicle available from £16,295. It features striking 18-inch black and silver alloy wheels, gloss black B-pillars and door mirrors, and black bezels for the bonnet light strips.

Inside the Juke n-tec, drivers will look the part alongside the stylish gloss black centre console and door trim finishers, which serve to top off the vehicle's trendy looking appearance.

On top of the Google Send-to-Car technology, motorists can make the most of the Nissan Connect system, which links the sat nav system with Bluetooth devices, mobile phones and MP3 players.

In terms of performance, the Juke n-tec is available with a direct-injection turbo engine that ensures ultra-responsive driving, as well as excellent fuel and emissions efficiency. Meanwhile, the Torque Vectoring System pinpoints torque to the wheels to guarantee expert handling.
