Nissan LEAF Gets New Glow in Exciting Model Update

The all-electric Nissan LEAF has received a number of exciting updates, offering more style and technology than ever before.

The Nissan LEAF was the world’s first mass-market EV and has become an icon in the electric sector since its launch over a decade ago. Refreshing the much-loved model demonstrates Nissan’s dedication to the global electrification shift.

Exterior design tweaks include intricate detailing, striking alloy wheel options, updated paint finishes and the new Nissan brand logo featuring on the wheels, front grille and rear. These design elements create a dynamic aesthetic in line with Nissan’s new brand identity.

The new 16 and 17-inch alloy wheel options add an extra element of sportiness and coupled with the slick black fascia the new LEAF has a truly premium feel. Customers will have the choice of some fresh exterior finishes, with five monotone colours and five two-tone options. Pearl Blue and Magnetic Blue hues are now available on the LEAF following success on Qashqai and ARIYA models.

A tried and tested suite of advanced driving assistance systems feature in the 2022 LEAF. These include: ProPILOT technology that enables the vehicle to automatically start, stop and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, plus, the innovative e-Pedal feature which provides the option to accelerate, decelerate and stop with only one pedal, creating maximum comfort whilst you’re on the move.

A suite of advanced infotainment system features are also present in the new LEAF, such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration. The NissanConnect Services app also allows users to toggle settings such as climate control and link to their Amazon Alexa smart home device.

The Nissan LEAF 2022 will land in Europe around April time. From the summer, Nissan will offer a fully electrified lineup. By 2030 Nissan hope to have launched 23 new electrified models, including 15 full EVs.
