Nissan Unveils New Concept Cars Hyper Force and Hyper Tourer

Nissan introduced new concept cars at the Japan Mobility Show on 25th October. The cars showcase Nissan’s innovative future with plenty of technology on offer. These are the Hyper Force and Hyper Tourer .

 

Makoto Uchida, Nissan president and CEO, commented on the unveiling:

“All five concept cars showcased today are symbols of the future and embody our founding spirit of `daring to do what others don't'.”

The Nissan Hyper Force concept car

This innovative model is made for those who love speed. It’s also suitable for gamers who love an adrenaline rush, while wanting to go green. The Hyper Force car aims to deliver an optimal driving experience, without compromising on comfort.

 

Solid performance

The concept car has a fully electric powertrain with a power output of 1,000kW. You are sure to enjoy the rapid acceleration, especially on circuits and winding roads. The model comes with Nissan’s e-4ORCE all-wheel drive technology.

To enhance the driving experience, there are two driving modes available. The R (racing) and GT (grand touring) modes make every turn more enjoyable.

Sleek exterior

With its wide proportions and seamless curves, the Hyper Force is guaranteed to be noticed. The front and rear lights provide a distinctive road presence, typical of a high-performance Nissan.

Optimising aerodynamics, the exterior was developed with the NISMO racing team. Featuring a two-tiered aerodynamic structure, the model has high cooling performance.

Other elements, including front winglets and both ends of the rear wing, also help to achieve optimal aero functionality. Plus, the forged carbon wheels help with brake cooling.

 

Innovative interior

The interior of this concept car is truly breathtaking. With augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies, every drive feels more seamless. Highlights include:

  • Lightweight, rigid carbon fibre seats
  • Advanced autonomous drive with hyper LIDAR
  • Several sensors optimised for sports driving
  • Special helmet with blind visors for VR, enabling a gamified driving experience (while the vehicle is stopped)
  • Red and blue cabin colours, depending on the driving mode
  • Intuitive cockpit to support the driver
  • Four satellite screens around the steering wheels, displaying grip, temperature, and more

Encompassing omotenashi, or Japanese hospitality, this concept car welcomes you with open arms. The Hyper Tourer has various technologies, such as autonomous driving.

Its Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) system matched with a high-capacity battery can also be used as a power source. For instance, if your home, store or office needs electricity, simply plug the Hyper Tourer in.

The model also has an incredibly low centre of gravity. It features innovative e-4ORCE all-wheel drive, delivering smooth and rapid acceleration.

 

Japanese beauty

The stylish exterior of this concept car has sharp, yet elegant lines. The model’s sides create an attractive flowing appearance, making it instantly recognisable.

Meanwhile, the Hyper Tourer’s white waistline operates as a headlight and signature lamp. The minibus also features kumiko-patterned wheels.

Spacious and minimalistic, the interior of the Hyper Tourer will keep impressing. The cabin features include:

  • Plenty of space for all passengers
  • Practical overhead console
  • Flat LED panel in the floor, displaying riverbed and sky imagery
  • Front seats which turn 360 degrees, allowing the driver to converse with the passengers
  • Wearable display to view and operate navigation available for the rear passengers
