Podium for Vettel as Red Bull drivers finish in top five

The Renault Sport Formula One team celebrated a successful Hungarian grand prix with Sebastian Vettel maintaining his press to hold on to his F1 crown.

Red Bull racer Vettel continues to lead the drivers' standings after securing second place at the Hungaroring, while teammate Mark Webber held on to second spot after finishing the race in fifth.

The podium finish means German Vettel has amassed 234 points so far this season, while Australian Webber sits on 149, three points ahead of Britain's Lewis Hamilton.

Reigning champion Vettel picked up a crucial 18 points for his efforts, missing out on a maximum 25 by just 3.5 seconds, with Jenson Button running out the eventual winner.

"Second today is an important step. Nevertheless, I think the win was within reach but we didn't get it," he commented.

"We need to work hard as both of the McLarens are very, very strong in all sorts of conditions, so it is clear now for a couple of races that they have done a step forward and we need to make sure we come back, definitely."
