Renault issues free tickets to 'thrilling' weekend action at Silverstone
Renault has announced that a limited number of free tickets to the forthcoming World Series by Renault have been made available.
The event, which takes place as Silverstone on August 20th and 21st, promises to be a "thrilling weekend of motorsport action".
Thierry Sybord, Renault UK managing director, said: "World Series by Renault at Silverstone is quite simply the best free motorsport-themed day out a family can have.
"And although we received an enormous demand for tickets again this year, with requests for 100,000 so far, we kept some back to make sure people were not disappointed closer to the time of the event."
The event prides itself on being the only chance in the UK for motorsport enthusiasts to see a modern day Formula One car in action without paying a penny.
Other highlights include demonstrations from the Formula Renault 3.5 single seaters, the Megane Trophy racers and the Clio Cup.
