Renault wins van accolade
Renault has been recognised for its range of vans at the Fleet Van Awards 2010.
The firm took the award for Most Improved Van Manufacturer of the Year at the ceremony and specific models were also praised by judges.
Its New Master van was highly commended in the Large Panel Van of the Year category, while both the Renault Kangoo and the Maxi were shortlisted for Small Van of the Year.
Judges said Renault's range of vans is now "very competitive", while also commenting on the company's van-specific Pro+ and iCare initiatives.
Darren Payne, Renault UK director of fleet and commercial vehicle operations, said the firm is "honoured" to be named at the awards.
"[We] are thrilled that the judges have recognised the work that has gone into revising our entire light commercial vehicle offering in less than two years," Mr Payne commented.
Renault is showcasing its new all-electric vehicles at the Paris Motor Show this month, including the zero-emissions Kangoo.
