Vauxhall's popular Vivaro van has scooped a prestigious prize in the form of the What Van? Medium Van of the Year Award.

The previous generation Vivaro was hot on its heels, bagging the Used Van of the Year title.

The win has continued the Vivaro's lucky streak, with the van also taking Fleet Van of the Year at this year's Motor Transport Awards and Best Medium Panel Van at the Commercial Fleet Awards.

What Van? Editor Paul Barker praised the Vivaro: "The Vivaro has again proven itself to be the most thought-out and user-friendly medium van on the market, and that combines with its stylish appeal and best-in-class Bi-Turbo engines to create an appealing proposition. The fact that it's British-built and supporting the UK economy is the icing on the cake of a well-thought-out light commercial vehicle proposition."

The Vivaro is a popular choice for companies including BT Fleet, British Gas and Homeserve.

Richard Collier, Vauxhall's National Commercial Vehicle & B2B Sales Manager commented: "We're thrilled to see the Vivaro recognised yet again. It continues to prove itself over and over to commercial vehicle operators, offering style, practicality, comfort and efficiency."
