Vauxhall ADAM ROCKS to roll into Geneva

The latest version of Vauxhall's city range, the ADAM, is set to take up a spot at the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show.

It was first revealed as a concept model at the same show last year, but visitors this time around will be able to gaze upon the car in all its production glory.

When put up against its other ADAM siblings, the ROCKS is a much taller, wider and tougher car than the other models. It also offers a full-length electric folding canvas roof for those who want to get in touch with the elements when behind the wheel.

It is fitted with a 1.0-litre ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo engine under the bonnet, offering up to 115PS and low-end torque of 166Nm.

In addition to the exterior changes, there have also been some changes to the cabin. There is now a main instrument cluster and a choice of seat and door panel colours and trim elements.

The car is excellent in terms of connectivity too, with Apple iOS devices able to be connected to the vehicle, with drivers able to use Siri Eyes Free voice control. This allows for text messages to be read aloud and dictated when on the move.

Stuart Harris, Vauxhall head of Carline Brand, said: "ADAM ROCKS combines the toughness of a crossover with the coolness of open air driving. It’s the perfect ADAM for active drivers wanting to stand out from the crowd."
