What is your most-anticipated car of 2013?

What Car? has posed the question 'what will be the most exciting car of 2013' to drivers.

As the publication gets ready to host its What Car? Car of the Year Awards ceremony on January 9th 2013, it has unveiled the shortlist for its Reader Award.

The prize, which was handed to the Jaguar F-type last year, is a prestigious honour that gives a glimpse into the vehicles that members of the British public are eager to get behind the wheel of.

Contenders up for the award this time include the awe-inspiring mid-engined Alfa Romeo 4C sports vehicle and the equally stunning four-seater Vauxhall Cascada convertible.

With cars becoming more environmentally-friendly, it is little wonder that the quirky Renault Zoe makes the shortlist.

Some popular vehicles on the road right now are also set to get a run for their money throughout 2013.

For example, the Ford Ecosport will present direct competition for the Nissan Juke, while the Mini is about to get a new rival in Citroen DS3 Cabrio. Both of these new vehicles are up for What Car?'s Reader Award.

Drivers can vote for their most-anticipated car of 2013 until midnight on January 8th, with the winner of the award announced the very next night.
