Will you DIG the new Nissan Note?

Nissan has announced its latest version of the Nissan Note, the DIG-S, is now available in showrooms and on forecourts up and down the country.

It is a low emissions and high fuel economy version of the model, thanks to the 1.6-litre four-cylinder DIG-S petrol engine found under the bonnet.

The DIG-S, which stands for Direct Injection Gasoline - Supercharged, produces 98PS and 147 Nm of torque. This helps to achieve fuel economy of 65.7mpg, while only emitting 99g/km of CO2.

This state of the art model comes with 16-inch alloy wheels as standard, in addition to changes to the suspension, ride and handling over its siblings.

It is also delivered with Nissan's unique Safety Shield systems, helping to minimise the potential for accidents while out on the road.

This includes blind spot warning, lane departure warning and moving object detection. The presence of Nissan's 360 degree around view monitor also provides peace of mind for the driver.

Geraldine Ingham, chief marketing manager for Nissan Europe, said: "Nissan Note has already made a real impression in Europe with strong sales in all markets. The arrival of the hugely effective DIG-S engine and the added design enhancements offered by the Style Pack will further cement its position as a genuine force in the B-segment."
