Alfa 4C's 'spiritual successor' at Goodwood Festival of Speed

The 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed is shaping up to be a stunning event, packed with new model launches, celebrations of fantastic automotive history, and some of the rarest motoring metal in the world. Including this simply stunning Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale prototipo; the 'spiritual successor' to the new 4C supercar that's about to go on sale.

Picture the 4C in your mind and then add in this image of the 33 Stradale, and you'll soon see the similarities between the two. So many evocative curves, wonderfully wide wheel arches and a stance that says 'fast' from every angle. With cars like this in their history and cars like the 4C soon to be on the road, it's little wonder why Alfa Romeo has a warm place in most petrolhead's hearts.

The 33 Stradale will be part of a priceless collection of classic Alfa exotica on show at Goodwood this year, with a total of six classic beauties mixing it with the modern metal on the Alfa stand. A collection that's probably worth the price of a Goodwood show ticket alone!
