All-New Arkana is the Latest Addition to Renault's SUV Line-Up

Renault has announced the details of the All-New Arkana, which is set to go on sale in 2021.

The coupe-inspired SUV will sit alongside the brand’s leading SUVs – the All-New Captur and Kadjar – and will feature electrified powertrain options, including the latest E-Tech Hybrid technology.

Let’s take closer look at the Arkana.

Exterior

Sleek and sophisticated, the All-New Arkana sports a distinctive style, combining an elevated SUV body with the muscular shape of a coupe for a real assertive stance.

It features the signature LED lighting synonymous with the Renault range, creating a dynamic stare and a show-stopping style. Chrome trim detailing adds the perfect finishing touch, showcasing a premium design that is instantly recognisable.

Interior

Boasting the style of a coupe but the practicality of an SUV, the Arkana is a great family car.

The boot offers an impressive 513 litres of loading space, which can be increased when the rear seats are folded flat.

In the front, there are plenty of storage compartments to keep the interior decluttered, including a handy net in the passenger side that can store a 1.5 litre bottle.

The cabin is finished with luxury detailing, including chrome trim as standard and a leather finished gear stick for a sophisticated finish.

Technology

Renault has made sure the All-New Arkana is jam-packed with the latest connected technologies and driver aid systems, to enhance the overall driving pleasure of everyone onboard.

There are four USB charging ports installed, along with a digitalised dashboard and a wireless smartphone system.

Powertrains

The All-New Arkana will come with a choice of two powertrains.

It will be the second Renault model, after the Clio, to be available with 140hp E-Tech Hybrid technology, which combines a 1.6 litre petrol engine with a lithium ion battery and 2 electric motors, to deliver a smoother and more efficient performance.

The second powertrain option will be a 1.3 litre TCe four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which will include hybrid technology.

R.S. Line

Finally, the Arkana will follow in the footsteps of the Clio and Megane and will be available in R.S. Line trim for the ultimate driving experience.

UK orders will start from July 2021, with first deliveries expected to take place in September 2021.
