Auto Express Awards: Four for Ford
Ford scored the most trophy-hits at this week's Auto Express Magazine Awards; four in total and more than any other manufacturer. And two of their coveted gongs were for two highly-prized categories; Best Supermini for the Fiesta, and Best Hot Hatch for the recently launched Fiesta ST.
The much-loved Fiesta has won this award for a very satisfying every year since and including 2009, with the hot Fiesta ST managing to impress the judges and public alike in the few short months that it's been on sale.
The Fiesta has long been the UK's best-selling supermini, with its combination of great looks, supreme handling and driver engagement, and roomy interior. The new Fiesta ST – with its 200bhp (on overboost), turbocharged engine and super-sticky chassis is a apex-hunter's dream car, and very competitively priced.
