Three Northampton Bristol Street Motors car dealerships have come together to support the football stars of the future by sponsoring Northampton Town FC’s Academy teams.
The three dealerships – Bristol Street Motors Peugeot, Vauxhall and Nissan – are supporting the team in a three-year deal as part of their commitment to community.
Each team, from the under 9s to the under 18s, which play in the Football League Youth Alliance, will benefit from the significant sponsorship, which will provide kit and equipment for the players, with the Bristol Street Motors logo displayed on the back of the playing shirts.
Bristol Street Motors Peugeot, which is based on Fortune Close, and Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall and Nissan, based on Carousel Way, offer a full range of new and used vehicles, as well as servicing, MOTs and winter checks on all cars.
Tony Dimartino, General Manager, Bristol Street Motors Peugeot Northampton, said: “The dealerships are extremely proud to be associated with Northampton Town Football Club and delighted to be backing the young players, who could become the stars of tomorrow. Sport brings people together and Bristol Street Motors appreciates its own role in supporting local organisations. A town’s football club is at the heart of the community where the dealerships also aspire to be.”
Trevor Gould, Academy Manager, Northampton Town FC, said: “We are very pleased to have secured such a community-minded sponsor. The long-term commitment of support will make a huge difference to the Northampton Town Academy. Nurturing the up and coming talent of the youth team is hugely important to the club’s future, so we are very grateful to all the dealerships for this assistance and we are looking forward to this partnership over the coming years.”
