Citroen Ds3 to inspire fashion range
Citroen is to make a foray into fashion after teaming up with popular label Gio-Goi.
The two firms have combined to create a limited edition run of trainers inspired by the WRC version of the Citroen Ds3.
It comes as the supercharged version of the supermini, created by Citroen Racing, bids to take a seventh World Rally Championship crown.
The Ds3's sculpted 18-inch alloy wheels and distinctive orange grille have been used as styling cues for the high-top training shoe.
Gio-Goi claimed the design of the footwear and the high-quality materials used will ensure that it "flexes perfectly with the movement of the foot while driving."
The firm's Jo Bohling explained: "The Ds3 Racing Shoe by Gio-Goi is for those who like to live life in the fast lane. Inspired by the Citroen's performance and the Gio-Goi attitude, this is a rare opportunity for people to get their hands on a uniquely designed and stylish piece of limited edition footwear."
Mark Lloyd, chief designer of Citroen's international projects, added: "Citroen Ds3 Racing was built for performance, style and exclusivity. Gio-Goi has added its signature creativity to produce a perfect compliment to the model with this great footwear design."
