Comedians man Citroen DS3 from London to Edinburgh
A pair of comedians are attempting to travel from London to Edinburgh on a single tank of fuel using the efficient Citroen DS3.
Aiming to cover 500 miles in order to reach the Edinburgh Fringe festival, Dan Adams and Christian Ancliff will get behind the wheel of the DS3, which has a fuel economy of 99g/km.
In order to maximise the economic nature of the vehicle, the duo have taken special Ecolution eco courses, teaching them smoother and safer driving methods.
After taking the lessons, the comedians had improved their fuel economy by 37.5 per cent.
Dan Adams commented: "The Ecolution driving course has definitely given me more confidence that we can make it from London to Edinburgh on just the one tank of fuel, but at the same time it means there is no turning back."
Mr Adams and Mr Ancliff will stop in a number of places between August 1st and 6th throughout their journey in the Citroen DS3, performing in Oxford, Statford-on-Avon, Manchester and Glasgow before reaching Edinburgh.
Citroen recently released a DS3 iPhone application, allowing users to customise their own virtual model.
