Fiat Panda has 'endearing and enjoyable quality'

The new Fiat Panda has an "endearing and enjoyable quality" to the way it drives, according to What Car?.

Its verdict on the new model, which is slightly longer, wider and rounder than the old version, is a positive one. It notes that the Panda is easy to manoeuvre for city driving and has a "mature feel" on the open road.

"Other than wind noise from around the side windows, the Panda copes well with motorway journeys, while it grips surely and displays balanced handling along the most twisty country roads," the review states.

As for the car's interior, the Fiat Panda has a more modern look to it, although the news provider suggested that some two-tone colour combinations can be garish.

In conclusion, the review states: "The Panda is a thoroughly endearing small car, so it should certainly be on the shortlist of anyone considering a city car."

The car is available with three engines, a 1.2, Twinair and diesel-engined 1.3 Multijet.
