Ford Transit van scoops reliability award
The Ford Transit has been named the most reliable fleet van in a recent survey.
It topped the Fleet News magazine poll for the fourth consecutive year, cementing its reputation as a dependable vehicle.
Commenting on the result, Ford of Britain fleet director, Kevin Griffin, said: "Reliability and minimising off-road time is critical for the commercial vehicle operator, whether it's a small van or a large truck. As commercial vehicle market leader for 46 years, Ford supports the most efficient use of a vehicle whilst on the road."
Another of Ford's vans, the Transit Connect, ranked third in the survey for the second year in a row.
Other vehicles making the top ten included the Citroen Berlingo and Relay, which ranked fourth and fifth respectively, and the Vauxhall Combo which came sixth.
The Ford Transit Connect recently completed a 669-mile journey round the Battle of Britain sites on a single tank of fuel in benefit of Help for Heroes and the RAF Benevolent Fund.
