New Fiat 500L MPW seats up to seven
The wraps are officially off the new Fiat 500L MPW 5+2-seater, based on the ever-popular 500 supermini, but with plenty of extra space for families on the move.
The 500L MPW with its extra third row of seats, is the most compact 5+2-seater MPV in its segment, and measuring 435cm long, 178cm wide and 167cm high, it’s still small enough to nip around town. Quite compact on the outside, but with a boot space that can swallow up to 638 litres of kit, there’s space inside for even for the kitchen sink!
From initial launch, the new Fiat 500L MPW will be offered with two petrol engines; a 95 HP 1.4 16v and 105 HP 0.9 TwinAir Turbo, and two diesels; a 105 HP 1.6 MultiJet II and 85 HP 1.3 MultiJet II, and a choice of manual or automatic gearboxes.
The trim levels are familiar from the rest of the Fiat 500 range - Pop Star and Lounge – and both can be had with 5 or 7 seats, 19 body colours and 6 interior trims combinations. Factor in the choice of 15 types of alloy wheels and hub caps and there are some 282 Fiat 500 MPW combinations.
The Fiat 500L MPW will be available to order in the UK from late summer.
