New SEAT Leon ST estate revealed
The wraps are off the first ever SEAT Leon with an estate body. The new big-booted Leon takes the choice of third-generation Leon body styles to three, with the 5-door hatchback and a new 3-door SC.
This new SEAT Leon ST (Sport Tourer) estate brings extra space, versatility and practicality to the all-new Leon range, with a boot capacity of an impressive 578 litres with the rear seats in place, and a full 1,470 litres with the rear seats folded flat. The Leon ST is a useful 4.54 metres long.
Of course, the frontal styling of the new ST is shared with the rest of the range, while the rear of the new car features the more load-friendly estate body styling and an up-lift boot lid.
The choice of engines for the Leon ST is identical to that as the 5-door hatch and SC models; with some of the very latest in economy and performance technology on the market. All engines have fuel-saving Start/Stop and Energy Recovery systems, and range in capacity and performance from the 1.2 TSI petrol and 1.6 TDI diesel, up to the most powerful 1.8 TSI petrol and 2.0 TDI diesel motors.
The modern-looking new SEAT Leon's styling is matched by some of the very latest driver and comfort aids. Safety technology for the ST includes Multi-Collision Brake, Tiredness Recognition and Lane Assist, while the SEAT Easy Connect infotainment system connects the driver's MP3 player with ease, and there's a colour touch-screen and full Bluetooth connectivity as standard across the range.
