Nissan to showcase new cars at Moscow International Motor Show

The new Nissan Almera will be the showcase vehicle of a strong showing from Nissan at the Moscow International Motor Show this week.

Kicking off today (August 29th), the event has already seen the curtain lifted on the next generation of the Almera.

People who glimpse the vehicle will notice that it features an enhanced chassis and a thicker steel design when compared to its predecessor.

Under the bonnet is a 1.6 litre, 16-valve petrol engine which enables the Almera to deliver 102bhp and boast 107lb ft of torque.

The new Almera is just the tip of the iceberg of Nissan's showing at the 2012 Moscow International Motor Show.

Car enthusiasts also have the opportunity to discover three new varieties of the well-loved Juke at the Russia exhibition – the racing-inspired Juke Nismo, the exciting Juke-R and a Juke designed around a partnership between Nissan and Ministry of Sound.

The Murano, Qashqai, Pathfinder, X-TRAIL and Tiida are just a few of the other vehicles being presented at the show by Nissan.
