Peugeot 5008 secures MPV award

Peugeot's 5008 compact MPV has won the Green MPV of the Year titles from What Car?

The car, which features seven seats, has already won two awards this year.

Editor in chief of What Car? Steve Fowler said: "It's our MPV of the Year. We think it's a brilliant family car, but it's also impressively kind to the environment - and your pocket."

Besides being able to carry a large number of passengers, the car also has a high load capacity and low CO2 output, helping to ensure practicality and cheaper running costs.

What Car? also noted that the car has relatively low servicing and insurance costs, making it an ideal choice for families hoping to keep their motoring costs down.

Peugeot is this year celebrating its 200th anniversary and has released a number of special vehicles, including the new 308 GT 200, featuring some 200 BHP.
