Peugeot named Most Improved manufacturer in Driver Power survey

The influential Driver Power survey, which polls more than 50,000 motorists, has named Peugeot as the Most Improved vehicle manufacturer.

As well as securing the title of the Most Improved manufacturer, the French firm was voted the third-best brand for vehicle running costs.

Peugeot secured five entries in the top 50 vehicles, with the 2008 Compact Crossover securing 11th place, with an approval rating of 90 per cent.

Steve Fowler, editor-in-chief of Auto Express, commented: "Peugeot really is on a roll, having launched some great cars in the past couple of years and it’s clear, owners are really beginning to recognise this."

The Peugeot RCZ Sports Coup� was voted number 20 in the overall list of vehicles and was named Best Sports Car, while the 508 was voted in the top five Family Cars to own.

Martin LeCoupeur, director of marketing at Peugeot, said he was delighted to see the efforts the company has put into its product design, reliability and quality are striking a chord with customers.
