Renault releases Initiale Paris concept

French car manufacturers Renault has revealed that the sixth part of its concept car design strategy will be the Initiale Paris.

Renault's latest concept car is the last part of the company's "design daisy", with this vehicle supposed to represent "Wisdom" and open-mindedness.

Other "petals" on the design structure are: Love, Explore, Family, Work and Play. Each title corresponds to a specific vehicle. The cars are supposed to be representative of each stage in life, and are intended to build strong links with customers.

According to Renault, the Initiale Paris is to deliver the vitality of a saloon, alongside the character of an SUV and the space of an MPV.

The vehicle previews the Espace replacement, but it does so in a way the demonstrates Renault's expertise and ambitions when it comes to the premium vehicle segment. It will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Design work on the car is expected to evoke thoughts of air travel, while Renault say that inspiration for the shape and style was taken from ultra-high-end contemporary outdoor furniture.
