Sebastien Loeb drives Citroen Ds3 to victory in Finland

Rally Finland was won by Sebastien Loeb and co-driver Daniel Elena last weekend.

The Citroen Ds3 WRC driver opened up a sizeable gap over the competition, leading second place by more than eight seconds.

Furthermore, Citroen also saw Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia finish in third place.

After seeing two Ds3's on the podium, Olivier Quesnel, the Citroen Racing Team principal, commented: "We fully believe in our decision to give our two drivers free rein to race. Each crew had its own strategy and could apply it depending on the circumstances.

"Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena mastered the situation perfectly. Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia were in a position to fight for victory until their puncture. I want to congratulate the technical team for the work done on the Ds3 which has shown again an incredible level of performance and reliability."

Following the race, Loeb explained that he drove his "heart out" in order secure a vital win.
