Skoda drivers encouraged to get their car prepared for winter

As the winter sets in, people start to worry about their health over the colder period. Skoda wants to remind drivers not to forget the health of their vehicles, which can be put under extra strain in chilly conditions.

As an initiative to encourage its customers to look after their cars, the Czech manufacturer is offering Winter Health Checks for just £25 at participating retailers across the country.

Consisting of a seven-point check on some of the most essential parts of a vehicle, no detail is too small for the fully trained technicians as they check tyres, lights, brakes, wiper blades, air-conditioning, batteries and fluids.

Drivers will also receive a complimentary antifreeze washer fluid top-up, full vehicle performance report and a free Skoda thermo mug in the scheme which runs until March 31st next year.

Head of Service and Parts Operations at Skoda UK, Warren Richards commented: "With the nights drawing in and temperatures dropping, it's more important than ever that vehicles are in tip-top condition. The Skoda Winter Health Check gives our customers peace of mind that their Skoda has been inspected by our fully trained Skoda technicians and is in good shape for the winter weather conditions."
