Vauxhall has launched a new campaign with Screwfix to highlight how its Movana van is the go-to choice for workmen and tradespeople.

The Movano, described by the car manufacturer as being "big, strong and versatile", is powered by a 2.3 CDTi 100PS engine, which produces a robust 285Nm of torque.

A fuel efficient vehicle – with a combined fuel economy figure of 37.2mpg – the Movano is a heavy-duty van engineered for 21st driving.

Vauxhall says that this model has "raised the bar" on cabin design. Extremely spacious, it offers flexible storage options, low loading heights, plenty of headroom and "generous load lengths".

As standard, the Movano comes equipped with half-height load trims panels to protect the side walls from wear and tear and a resin-coated plywood floor that delivers extra protection against damage.

Additional highlights include Bluetooth connectivity, a six-way adjustable air-suspended driver's seat, a streamlined dashboard and a flat-folding middle seat work surface.

"All engines come with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, offering improved fuel consumption and driving performance," Vauxhall states.

"All models also have a gear-shift indicator light. This is located in the instrument cluster and indicates the optimum time to shift gear for maximum fuel economy."
