Alfa Romeo enhances MiTo and Giulietta ranges

Alfa Romeo has revealed it is adding a new Sportiva trim to both its MiTo and Giulietta ranges in order to further enhance the appeal of the models to new car buyers.

According to the manufacturer, the Sportiva trim is inspired by its range-topping versions and delivers customers a vehicle with luxurious sporty looks allied to fuel efficiency and low emissions.

The car maker says the MiTo Sportiva will boast all the technology-packed features of the Distinctive trim, with a host of exciting additions, including 18" Quadrifoglio Verde sports alloy wheels, sports kick plates and Sportiva badges.

Inside the cabin, the theme is black and green with darkened interior headlining, while matte black steering wheel inserts accompany a black leather steering wheel and handbrake, and black Alcantara sport seat upholstery is finished with green stitching.

Meanwhile, the Giulietta Sportiva version builds on the already sporty Veloce trim, adding oversized red Brembo brake callipers mounted inside 18" spoke design alloy wheels with a dark titanium finish.

The Alfa MiTo Sportiva is available with three engine options - the 875cc TB TwinAir 85 bhp, the 1.4 TB MultiAir 135bhp and the 1.6 JTDM-2 120bhp.

A choice of six engines is on offer with the Alfa Giulietta Sportiva, and includes the new technologically advanced twin dry-clutch semi-automatic ALFA TCT.
