Bethany England Wins Fans' Player Of The Month Award
Bethany England has been voted the WSL PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month by football fans across the country. In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, the Chelsea forward won with 18% of the vote for January, with Manchester City’s Lauren Hemp coming close in second place with 17%.
In the final of five divisional votes carried out over eleven days via Snack’s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and press, it was clear that England’s strong performances over the last month – in which she scored four goals - has resonated not just with Blues fans, but with supporters of all teams.
