Chevrolet releases Orlando MPV

Chevrolet could strengthen its grip on the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) market in the UK with the release of the Orlando.

The seven-seat MPV is available in three trim levels and boasts highly competitive running costs.

Falling in the lowest insurance group classification for a seven-seater, the model is available with a 1.8-litre petrol, 2.0-litre VCDi diesel or 2.0 LT VCDi engine.

Standard equipment includes air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors, airbags and three 12V power sockets.

The luxurious LTZ trim level offers motorists more features, in the form of 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic gearbox, full leather interior and heated front seats.

Chevrolet national fleet sales manager Keith Jones said the new Orlando MPV "blends practicality, style and comfort".

"Backed up by a three-year warranty, high mileage fleet, service and maintenance package options and the support of a nationwide dealer network, the Orlando is an outstanding and versatile proposition," Mr Jones added.

Last month, Chevrolet revealed its upcoming Camaro Convertible model, due to enter production in January and reach European markets later in 2011.ADNFCR-3205-ID-800278682-ADNFCR
