First Look at the New Vauxhall Grandland

The Vauxhall Grandland has been given an impressive revamp which has delivered safety and styling upgrades. The new model will also have the ‘X’ dropped from its name, as was seen with new-gen Crossland and Mokka vehicles released earlier this year.

Exterior

The Grandland’s striking new design immediately draws attention. A completely refreshed front end features Vauxhall’s iconic Vizor grille, the latest Griffin logo and adaptive LED headlights. Sleek new side panels are finished in body colour, with skid plates available in black or silver. At the rear, you’ll find angular lines and strong ‘Grandland’ badging which stretches across the boot.

Interior

The new Grandland has an inviting interior, which has been enhanced with new tech. A central infotainment system and a digital driver display ensure connectivity, safety and navigation needs are all taken care of; expect Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built in sat nav and wireless charging, all as standard.

Vauxhall set out to make the new Grandland the ‘safest SUV’ around, and their tech innovations certainly show they meant business. An extensive safety kit offers the following: collision warning and autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition and night vision cameras, which can spot pedestrians and animals up to 100m away.

Plus, ergonomic front seats deliver a truly comfortable ride, so you’ll feel relaxed from the moment you step into the cabin.

Engine

The new Grandland will be available with three efficient engine options: petrol, diesel and plug-in-hybrid. Further details on the exact specification will be released in due course - we will keep you posted once this is announced.

Boasting a stylish, modern design, heaps of new tech and a range of cutting-edge safety features, the new Grandland is far from a standard SUV. Pricing will be confirmed closer to the vehicle arriving in dealerships later this year, with the first UK deliveries expected in Autumn 2021.
