Citroen DS3 named Best Hot Hatch
The Citroen DS3 has been named Best Hot Hatch at the first CarBuyer Car of the Year awards.
An expert panel of motorists and reviewers concluded that the model presents "great value", particularly due to Citroen's affordable aftersales and maintenance packages.
The turbocharged model has already bagged a number of accolades since its release, including TopGear Magazine's Car of the Year and Fifth Gear's Small Car of the Year.
CarBuyer said the vehicle "stirred plenty of passion" among judges.
Linda Jackson, Citroen UK managing director, commented: "Once again, the Citroen DS3 has proved to be a winner with the critics, as it has been with the public.
"Its distinctive personality makes it a standout model in every way."
The special edition 207hp Citroen DS3 Racing was released in the UK last month, with its very first owner commenting on its balance of sporty performance with style and a high build quality.
