Citroen proves its metal across the range

Citroen is celebrating after its fantastic range of products were recognised by leading weekly car magazine Auto Express.

The title named the Grand C4 Picasso its 'MPV of the Year' at its New Car Awards while it was highly commended in the 'Best Crossover' category for the new C4 Cactus and its DS3 was recognised in the 'Best Premium Small Car' award.

However it was the Grand C4 Picasso that came out on top with the judging panel specifically recommending the BlueHDi 150 Exclusive model.

Steve Fowler, Editor-in-chief of Auto Express, said: "The Grand C4 Picasso is a brilliantly conceived MPV. Citroen really has put the family first in producing a car that's easy, enjoyable and cost effective to own. It not only does the practical things superbly, but impresses with its overall comfort and refinement, plus its quality and advanced technology."
On top of this prestigious award for the Grand C4 Picasso, the five-seat C4 Picasso was commended in the same MPV category proving Citroen's strength in the people carrier market.

The New Citroen C4 Cactus will launch in the UK in October but has already been recognised as a fantastic vehicle, receiving a commendation in the 'Best Crossover' category.
Citroen's popular hot hatch, the DS 3, was also commended in 'Best Premium Small Car' category.
