Citroen showcases new C4 Cactus

Citroen has been busy rolling out its new C4 Cactus model, with the car said to provide new automotive ideas for the new world.

The manufacturer has been boasting how the model delivers simple design and smart functionality, providing drivers with a comfortable, practical and stylish vehicle.

When it comes to design, the Cactus is delivered with pure surfaces, smooth lines and a range of exterior, hi-tech light signatures powered by LED technology.

This lighting is delivered as part of Citroen's exclusive Airbump protection technology, which helps to absorb any impact when hit head on, from behind or at either side. The manufacturer says this will minimise maintenance costs for customers.

It is also set to provide drivers with stunning comfort, with more space provided in both the driver and passenger sections of the car.

Furthermore, it comes with a whole range of technologies, including a fully digital and intuitive touchscreen interface.

This seven-inch touchscreen has seven main control buttons which give access to features such as automatic air conditioning, media settings, navigation, driving aids, hands-free telephone, connected services and parameter settings.

There are also a number of apps available, such as the fuel app, which allows drivers to find the nearest or cheapest fuel station, and the Yellow Pages and Trip Advisor apps, which help to locate hotels and restaurants.

It is highly economical too, coming in a compact and lightweight platform and featuring Stop and Start technology to help cut emissions further.

All this means the petrol version emits less than 100g/km of CO2, while in the diesel, this is just 82g/km.
