The world premiere of the all-new Mazda6 Saloon has taken place at the 2012 Moscow Motor Show.

Representing the new flagship model of the Japanese car manufacturer's impressive product range, the vehicle looks to deliver owners an exciting experience behind the wheel.

This is highlighted by the fact that the Mazda6 Saloon is only the second of a new generation of vehicles from the Japanese firm to offer SKYACTIV technology and the 'KODO – Soul of Motion' design language.

Powertrain designs for the Mazda6 Saloon come in two options. The nimble SKYACTIV-G 2.0 presents maximum torque of 210Nm / 4,000rpm and is able to achieve a maximum output of 150ps at 6,000rpm.

Those after a little more oomph may instead want to opt for the SKYACTIV-G 2.5 engine, which offers a maximum of 256Nm / 3,250rpm of torque and achieves up to 192ps at 5,700rpm.

Hiroshi Kajiyama, programme manager of the Mazda6 Saloon, stated: "In short, the new Mazda6 offers the 'joy of driving' that people have come to expect from a Mazda, but now the experience starts even before you get behind the wheel and lingers long after the drive is over."
