Honest John launches legal advice page
Motoring website Honest John has launched a new section of its website aimed at ensuring motorists know their legal rights and obligations.
The Ask Lucy page was introduced after the site received thousands of enquiries each year regarding motoring law, buying and selling, and liability.
Run by Lucy BC, a legal specialist who has worked for Honest John for a number of years, the feature will list the most popular enquiries and will also offer a personalised question and answer function, giving a response within one working day.
Honest John said the law surrounding driving is "seldom simple" and professional advice often comes at a large cost.
Lucy BC added: "All too often motorists are forced to negotiate their way through a minefield of legal jargon and terminology, either out on the road or when buying a vehicle."
Popular questions posted on the Honest John Legal Matters page so far concern speed cameras, road tax, cracked windscreens and issues surrounding road accident liability.
Honest John also reviews popular new models from most manufacturers.
