Passengers in the back certainly won’t feel cramped, thanks to increased space over the previous generation; there’s a further six centimetres more legroom and the Advanced Comfort Seats which come as standard, enhance passenger comfort.

With 545-litres of boot storage space in petrol variants and 485-litres in PHEV variants (extending with the rear seats folded), alongside eight storage compartments around the cabin - the New C5 X a great choice for families.

Efficiency

From launch, customers will have the choice of an efficient petrol or hybrid powertrain. Petrol variants are available with either a 1.2-litre PureTech 130 or 1.6-litre PureTech 180 engine. Hybrid models combine the 180 petrol engine with an 81.2kW electric motor and a 12.4kWh Lithium-ion battery pack, for a combined power output of 225hp and 360Nm of torque.

In full-electric mode, the hybrid model will have a range of 34 miles, and hybrid variants emit just 30g/kg of CO2, which makes them eligible for an 11% Benefit-in-Kind taxation rate.

Hybrid models have three available driving modes: Electric, Hybrid and Sport. Electric mode gives up to 34 miles of zero-emissions range, Hybrid mode offers the best of both worlds, and Sport mode maximises performance from the electric motor and petrol engine. Drivers can also use the e-Save function to reserve electric range for later in the journey if they need.
