Liverpool's Van Dijk Wins Pfa Bristol Street Motors Fans' Player Of The Month
Virgil van Dijk has been voted the PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month for February by football fans across the country.
In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, the Dutch defender won by a landslide, with Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero and Aymeric Laporte, and Burnley’s Ashley Barnes completing the shortlist for February.
In the first of four divisional votes carried out over seven days via Snack’s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and press, it was clear that van Dijk’s commanding performances last month – in which he scored twice and helped keep three clean sheets- has resonated not just with Reds fans, but with supporters of teams up and down the country.
