Hyundai is offering cars that are attractive and affordable, according to the judges behind the 2011 Motor Trader awards.

The manufacturer was named Car Franchise of the Year by the nomination of experts, who noted the continued success of the company and the improvements it is making.

Editor of Motor Trader Curtis Hutchinson explained: "This is a franchise on the move delivering desirable new products, sensibly priced and with a five year warranty. No wonder dealers want to represent Hyundai."

This is the second year in a row the brand has been given the award and the prize adds to the accolade offered to the company by consumer magazine Which? in recent months.

Hyundai was praised for providing "outstanding products" at "exceptional value" by the publication, which named the firm Best Car Manufacturer 2011.

The brand is known for personal and commercial vehicles, including the Grandeur, Matrix, Santa Fe and the Ilaod van, all of which are available at Bristol Street Motors.
