Nissan launches new Micra this week
Nissan is set to launch a new version of its popular Micra model this week.
According to the manufacturer, the new city car features all the mod-cons of a luxury family saloon in a small package.
Vehicle weight has been reduced by 50kg, emissions by 17 per cent and fuel economy increased by 22 per cent compared with the previous generation Nissan Micra.
It has a class-leading turning circle and is only 61mm longer than its predecessor.
Meanwhile, it is also equipped with rear parking sensors, airbags, ESP and a touchscreen navigation system courtesy of Nissan Connect.
To promote the release, Nissan is giving customers who test drive the new Micra between January 6th and 13th the chance to win a weekend city break for two in Bath, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Oxford or York.
Customers could take home a new Micra from as little as £8,995, while Bristol Street Motors will be running a promotional event for the car this weekend (January 8th and 9th).
Top Gear magazine recently labelled the model's 1.2-litre engine as "mighty impressive" due to its low emissions.
