Nissan reveals new Juke Nismo Concept

Just when you thought the Nissan Juke was all out of ideas, having recently been morphed into the Juke R crossover, the Japanese firm announces yet more tweaking.

Indeed, Nissan has revealed a first look at a new Juke Nismo Concept, with a purpose-deigned body kit.

According to the manufacturer, the kit not only enhances the looks of the model but increases its aerodynamic efficiency.

Those lucky enough to get behind the wheel of the car will be thrilled by the extra power stemming from the tuned-up engine.

Andy Palmer, executive vice-president of the Nissan Motor Co, commented: "The global sales success of Nissan Juke has proved beyond doubt that customers are looking for something different.

"The Juke Nismo Concept takes that idea to the next level. It's energetic, distinctive and highly desirable."

Part of the car's desirability is down to the stiffer chassis, which will give driver's that "on the track" feeling.

Larger tyres, offering better handling, and a distinctive sports-inspired interior complete the effect.
