Peugeot 208 gets a stylish makeover

Peugeot's already brilliant 208 has undergone a delicate but noticeable revamp and is now available in an all-new trim appropriately dubbed Style.

The eye-catching car now comes with a gorgeous panoramic sunroof, a luxurious leather steering wheel, chrome door mirrors, a fully-integrated sat-nav system and state-of-the-art parking sensors.

There are now three engines to choose from. For those committed to petrol, there is the PureTech 1.2-litre VTI petrol engine; while for those fond of diesel, there are two options – the 1.4-litre HDI or the 1.6-litre e-HDI Stop/Start engines.

The petrol engine is almost a match made in heaven and fits the 208 Style perfectly. It holds the car together perfectly, delivering practicality and edge all at once.

A lot of the developments are understated but as a whole they deliver something new to the popular model and will no doubt be greeted enthusiastically by car buyers.

The interior exudes a sporty chic sensibility, characterised by the plush seats, which would not be amiss in a racing car.
