Redline gives away Nurburgring lap

Performance car magazine Redline is giving motorists the chance to race a free lap at the world-famous Nurburgring circuit in its October issue.

Available from September 23rd, the magazine will contain a 30-page feature covering all aspects of the 13-mile racing circuit, including how to get there, where to stay and how to handle the track.

The lap is worth 22 euros (£18) and can be claimed by any reader aged over 18 until April 30th.

Drivers could also take part in a competition to win a track day with RSRNurburg driving school, during which they could be given the chance to drive a Lotus Exige or a Renault Clio 200 Cup around the track.

"The Nurburgring is the ultimate test of car and driver, so when we wanted to see how much faster a tuned car is over standard, we headed straight to Germany," said Redline editor Davy Lewis.

Also featured in the October issue is the world's first Mini 1.8T conversion.

The Nurburgring will host the Formula One Grand Prix in July 2011.ADNFCR-3205-ID-800071784-ADNFCR
