The All-New Renault Captur Wins Best Small SUV Title at Auto Express Awards
The All-New Renault Captur has been named Small SUV of the Year at the 2020 Auto Express Awards.
The popular Renault model has recently been refreshed and an E-TECH Plug-in Hybrid option has been launched, giving drivers the chance to reduce their emissions, without compromising on performance.
Auto Express judges praised the Captur for its low running costs, practical features and advanced technology, making it a perfect car for families.
Commenting on the All-New Captur’s success, the Auto Express judges said: “Taking much of the magic that’s made the Clio such a successful supermini, Renault has upscaled its recipe for its second-generation Captur small SUV – and to similar success. It boasts the same great level of refinement we’ve come to expect from Renault’s latest products, along with great tech, a practical interior and low running costs. The way the Captur combines all these elements in one mature-feeling package is why it’s our favourite small SUV.”
The Captur wasn’t the only Renault model to take home silverware this year. The All-New Clio, the Zoe and the Alpine A110 were also recognised, bringing home the Supermini of the Year, Affordable Electric Car of the Year and Coupe of the Year titles.
