Vauxhall releases VXR footage

Driving enthusiasts looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the much-anticipated Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring have been given a video to whet their appetite.

The Luton-based manufacturer has released an online clip of the forthcoming model in order to drum up interest in the hot hatch.

However, the move may be seen as unnecessary as motoring fans from all over the UK have been clamouring for more information on the VXR for some time.

In the video, fans see the new Corsa, which takes its name from the world-famous Nurburgring circuit in Germany, put through its paces on empty country roads.

Viewers are treated to shots off the hatchback's sleek exterior, before the camera pans across the VXR's racing-inspired interior, which included bucket seats, racing wheel and metal pedals.

The VXR then shows of its speed and handling as it is thrown into a corner, demonstrating its impressive cornering and acceleration.
