Vauxhalls vans win the firm two awards
Vauxhall’s vans helped the British firm secure two trophies at the VansA2Z.com 2013 award ceremony.
The Vauxhall Combo won the Best Light Van gong, while the Vivaro ecoFLEX was handed the Diesel ecoVan of the Year prize.
Neil McIntee, VansA2Z.com editor, explained that the Combo won due to sheer variety of model choices on offer, while it also proves to be an excellent ride, handling very well whether it is stocked up or not.
He suggested that competition was tight when it came to the ecoVan award, with many super-efficient diesel vans producing low fuel consumption, but the Vivaro ecoFLEX stuck out as one of his favourites.
“We’re delighted to collect these two awards from VansA2Z.com,” said Steve Bryant, brand manager at Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles.
“The versatile Combo has impressed since launch and it’s great news that it has won yet another award. Having been first with a van eco-range, we are very pleased the Luton-built Vivaro has been honoured in ecoFLEX guise. The ever-popular Vivaro has been a lynch pin of our commercial vehicle range for over a decade.”
