All-new Ford Fiesta coming to LA Auto Show

Despite 2013 being more than a month away, Ford has already revealed the first details of its 2014 Fiesta car.

The brand new vehicle was presented at an advanced meeting prior to the Los Angeles Auto Show, with more set to be revealed at the event when it gets underway tomorrow (November 28th).

Fans of the Fiesta range and Ford in general will quickly notice that the new vehicle has been designed with a face more akin to the Ford Fusion.

Meanwhile, under the bonnet the American car giant has presented drivers with a raft of engine choices once the 2014 Fiesta launches in the spring of next year. This stretches from the entry-level one-litre motor to the high-performing Fiesta ST.

For the latter vehicle, drivers will be able to get to grips with a 1.6-litre four-cylinder EcoBoost turbocharged engine that delivers 197bhp and 214lb/ft of torque, as well as achieving 34mpg.

The treats continue to come when stepping inside the 2014 Ford Fiesta, where the newest version of MyFord Touch will be waiting on the car's dashboard.

With this technology, motorists can sift through a large variety of multimedia software programs on a 6.5-inch touchscreen, or speak their selections through the system's enhanced voice recognition feature.
