Ford receives more plaudits for van range
Ford has long been one of the most popular commercial vehicle options available on the market and its models have picked up countless accolades and titles.
The brand has now been applauded for the reliability of its range of vans following a Fleet News survey. After speaking to 50 of the UK's leading and largest contract hire and leasing companies, Ford came out on top for the second consecutive year for being the most dependable brand for all fleet needs.
Furthermore, the Transit model was named the most reliable single vehicle in the poll. New Transit Courier and Transit models are expected to be released in early 2014 and should continue Ford's long standing tradition of commercial excellence.
In a statement, Ford UK's fleet director Phil Hollins said: “Ford has been at the top of the UK commercial vehicle market for over 47 years, and is very proud to retain these important honours.
"The company’s strong results from this comprehensive study are testament to the hard work of our design and engineering teams based at Dunton in the UK, which continue to deliver class-leading products of the highest quality.”
