Ford Transit voted top used van by Commercial Motor
The list of accolades for the Ford Transit is piling up, as the model added the 2013 Used Van of the Year title to its collection.
Received at the 2013 Commercial Motor Used Truck of the Year Awards, the Transit scooped the prize in the 3.5-tonne van category.
The Ford Transit has been a trusty companion for the commercial market for years, offering users practicality, affordability and excellent space.
Furthermore, Ford boasts a large repair network all across the UK, making sure professional maintenance is not difficult for owners to access.
Editor of Commercial Motor magazine Will Shiers said that the publication's readership voted hugely in favour of the Ford Transit.
"The Transit has been the nation's favourite for the better part of half a century now, not only when new, but on the used market too. The van has defined the sector. Used buyers know exactly what they're getting with a Transit, a van they can trust," he added.
Proving the van's popularity, there are an estimated 700,000 new and used Transit models currently in operation in the UK. Surely this many owners can't be wrong?
